Prestige Padi green building & sustainable features

Prestige Padi green building & sustainable features dedicate 80% of the project's 16-acre land which equals 12.8 acres purely to open green space across 18 to 20 residential towers along CTH Road, Chennai. Built with 2 basements, a ground floor, and 14 to 16 upper floors, the township uses only 20% of the ground for concrete buildings to keep the area cool. The project sets up deep rainwater collection pits along its borders, an on-site sewage treatment plant, and rooftop solar panels to power shared lights for all 2,200 homes. All cars and bikes stay on the outer ring roads, leaving the central 12.8 acres safe, clean, and pedestrian-friendly around a large 60,000 sq. ft. clubhouse.
The towers are spaced apart to allow sea breezes from the Bay of Bengal to flow through the open areas. Rows of native trees provide shade and help reduce road dust and traffic noise. The walking paths use porous tiles that allow rainwater to soak into the ground. This helps reduce water runoff and supports groundwater recharge, which can help refill local wells.
